Does Foundation Oxidise Because of Undertone?

Foundation oxidation occurs when pigments react with oxygen, oils, or skin chemistry. High skin pH, oil production, and certain ingredients can accelerate this reaction.

Undertone choice affects how colour appears — not whether it oxidises. Correct shade selection prevents visible colour shift, but it does not stop chemical oxidation.
