Siân’s Tip:
For best results apply with a soft brush on clean skin using a stippled action as sponges can make application heavy. For a more sheer finish apply lightly to moisturized skin or simply apply lightly with a small brush. Remember that the more you break the product down with mixers, the more you will change the formulation structure and will need to powder and set as normal. Used neat and pure it is self setting, long lasting and has all the gorgeous attributes stated above. These are proven and tested on movie sets. We recommend our Best Kept Secret Brushes for beauty makeup and tattoo cover, as they pick up the product beautifully; try our Buff Blender or Clever Contour brushes. For tiny tattoos coverage try our Cute Concealer. If you want to achieve a real skin finish, try our Classic brushes in  Baby Concealer, Baby Blender, Beautiful Blender. If you want to cover larger areas, try our Queen Foundation and Soft Oblique Foundation

    With very little information on how to use the product I found this frustrating to work with. I have practiced using numerous brushes and techniques and still can't get it to cover ANY of my tattoos adequately.

      We are sorry you are frustrated Meghan especially as so many people have successfully used 4K Longwear Creme for exactly the purpose you have been trying. We suggest you use it on clean skin, apply with a soft brush and be generous with the application, let each layer dry in between then stipple another layer on top and use the colours in the palette to make it like skin. Remember that you do not need to colour correct with this product – it has 40% pigment – so go in with flesh tone. Do not use a sweeping motion but rather use a stipple motion. We recommend our Best Kept Secret 5 or 6 as the right brush really does make a difference – but of course we are sure you will have something like this already. Sponge application can be too heavy – so use a brush delicately. Keep stippling each layer but let it dry in between – should take around 30 seconds to dry. No need to thin the product out at all for tattoo coverage. Do not use oil or oil based products to prep the skin as any oil based product will break down a silicon creme. Keep practising! The best things come as you learn the process and develop your own techniques. Rome wasn't built in a day and sometimes it just takes a little longer :). However, with so many success stories already sent to us, we feel certain that you will become another one and you can always ask for help via our Facebook Page too. We do have some simple instructions on the labels as your guide but these details should help. This is a layering system, but it is fast and has been proven that it works. You can do it!     I currently have 3 of these palettes in my pro kit (boreal, ether and essence). These palettes have changed my life as an MUA. The 4K longwear creme is the most versatile product in my kit and it caters to every complexion, skin type and age. You can adjust the amount of coverage by mixing it with the marvelous moisturizer or schmix (I even mix in liquid highlighters). I use this for photo shoots, film and bridal. Its long lasting and always looks great on camera. If I were only able to have one brand of a foundation/concealer palette in my kit, this is the one. I truly cannot recommend this enough!
